There are all kinds of different life philosophies, with their cool taglines: "Work Hard, Play Hard." "Balance." "There are things in life that are more important than work." "It's important to be passionate about what you do." "simple life." "seize the day."
They make all these different philosophies sound good, and provide the means for people to behave how they want and then slap on the tagline to rationalize it.
