Every so often, when I'm lucky, I can just lose myself in some music. The chatter in my brain will stop long enough to let me just be as I experience the music.

I bought a hard disk the other day. I spent most of the day yesterday after it arrived getting my computer working and copying my old disk to the new one. Now I need to send in this rebate. Unfortunately, I printed the rebate to a file a while ago, and the last time I tried opening it, my postscript reader said that it was not a valid postscript file. My theory is that I printed it while my browser was in a Chinese locale, and I was trying to view it from a U.S. locale. So I'm going to try to look at it again now in Simplified Chinese locale. Hopefully that works, because the rebate seems to have disappeared off the officedepot website.

I decided to do some cooking today. First: some teriyaki chicken in preparation for tomorrow's barbecue.
Second: some chicken for stir frying tonight.
Third: some eggs with ginger (today's "what's in the fridge?" experiment). It makes the eggs have a "fresh, crisp" taste that doesn't quite seem right. Perhaps next time I will try eggs, sugar and ginger. That might work as a desert.
