Went to see one Dr. Moyce about the bump on my lip. He seemed certain that it was a clogged salivary gland. He said it's pretty common. His recommendation is that I get it removed, by him. There's a 2-3% chance that it (or another one like it) will spring up in its place.
After this 2 minute consultation, I needed to go make another appointment. The first available time they had was June 17. So it looks like I'll be in the bay area until then.

The "start here" icon in RedHat 9 is labeled "从这里开始" which I believe means literally "from here, start." So I decided to rename "wtanaka's Homedir" to "我住在这儿": "I live here."
