I left my backpack at the Cambodian Embassy at the guard shack out front. I hope that it's still okay when I get back. I just couldn't bear to carry it around the city.

Bangkok is pretty smoggy. I missed meeting up with Andy and Chek here, so after I pick up my Cambodian visa from the Embassy today, I think I'm going to head straight over to Angkor.

Last night, I borrowed Oh's guitar and was playing it on a beach chair on Maikhow beach under a perfectly clear night sky, listening to the waves and looking at the stars.

A thought in the shower this morning -- help make technology more accessible to people by writing books.

So far, most cities I've been to in Malaysia and Thailand have had a butterfly park of some kind. I've taken a lot of butterfly photos. So many that I couldn't decide which one I wanted to upload. Jim and I had gone to a Bird Park in Kuala Lumpur too. The butterfly park was better and cheaper, but we did get to see a pretty cool feeding.

I met a great guy named "Oh" in Phuket. I was planning on staying at Maikhow beach for only one night and leaving for Bangkok the next morning, but Oh and his wife Tim are such great people that I've decided to stay another night. I've also missed the sunset two nights in a row, so I'm hoping to see it tomorrow night.

After reading more in the Thailand Lonely Planet, I think I'm going to give Ko Phan Ngan a skip, and head straight for Angkor.
